Created in partnership with brand agency Digitas last October, the video series shared stories of buyers being re-united with items they once considered long-lost, sellers building their own brands and businesses, and non-profits and charities benefitting from the support and solidarity of our community. Designer Jonathan Adler, biker Chris Kegel and the Michael J. Fox Foundation were among the participants and motorcycle enthusiast Ed Church’s video narrative, which documented how the biker was reunited with his first-ever motorcycle through eBay, even garnered roughly half a million views in its first three days and 5,600 likes on Facebook. To this day, it remains eBay’s single most liked and commented Facebook post.
