Tebowmania isn’t the only thing heading East and hitting the Big Apple this Fall. Today, we announced our newest eBay Technology Center of Excellence based in New York City. Located at 625 6th Avenue, the office will welcome the Hunch team (acquired by eBay in late 2011), and expand to more than 200 people over the next couple of years – most of whom will work on cool technology and data programs that are critical to the eBay experience.

eBay announced this morning that it has acquired the innovative team and technology of Hunch, an online platform launched in 2009 that delivers customized recommendations to its users based on their individual tastes.
