eBay is projecting 2012 global mobile GMV to surpass $8 billion. PayPal projects that its global mobile TPV will exceed $7 billion in 2012.

July 11, 2011 will mark the three-year anniversary of the launch of Apple’s App Store. That’s when Apple officially opened the App Store for business, launching with over 500 apps including our very own eBay and PayPal mobile apps.
